When it comes to your childs bedroom, the most important purchase that you will make is the crib. The crib is what the room centers on and the accessories of the crib are just as important. Depending on the type of crib that you have purchased, you may have to buy some of the accessories separately. The most important purchase that parents can make is the mobile. The mobile can bring the room and the crib together in relation to the décor. If you purchase a plain crib, but you have a theme, you may want to try to get a mobile that goes along with the décor.

If your child gets fussy for bedtime, you can usually turn on the mobile and they calm down. The mobile may only move around in a circle, but it may also play music. If you have a convenient crib, you will find that your mobile comes with the crib and works by remote, but most of the time you need to purchase a mobile to hang over the crib. Many children do not respond to a mobile right away so you may want to purchase the next accessory just in case. The next accessory that you will want is a light for the crib. These lights are not like a nightlight, but they cling to the side of the crib and provide shapes of light that moves around. These accessories will also play music and usually works with comforting the child, as well as, amusing the child until they fall asleep. You will also need the bedding for the crib. The bedding for the crib is the ultimate accessory because it can add softness to the room. You may want to purchase bedding for your child's crib with the theme of the room imprinted in the fabric or you can tone the room down with plain sheets. However, all new parents should know that the child should never have any stuffed animals or anything new where they lay down nor should they have a pillow. This is so your baby can sleep safely through the night without having anything new them to construct their airways.
